Why Am I getting a vertical Blue thin line on Display of my PrecisionM4800
.? Is there problem with Video card?

Good day Karthi.SK44,
Thank you for writing to the Dell Community Forum .
I would suggest you to test the display on the external monitor to confirm if the display is bad on external monitor then the systemboard is faulty .
Secondly initiate LCD BIST (built in self test ) on the system by shutdown the system ,then press and hold the power button .Then power on the system where in solid colors will be visible on the system .If the line is visible during the test then screen is faulty .
If both these tests pass then check the functionality of the system ins safe mode with networking to eliminate the operating system .

I think we had to replace the Display Led itself as it comes under warranty.

I would ask you to provide the service tag of the system ,system owners contact details as in name ,contact no ,physical address (Via private message ) so that I can assist you with part replacement after confirming warranty details .
