Why is my dell inspiron 1545 CHARGER not working?
I've had my computer for about 4 years. I need a new battery, so my computer only works with the charger. About an hour ago, my computer went black. I didn't knock the cord out, cause i haven't moved. My charger was plugged in, but the little blue light that is always on wasn't on. I tried every outlet in my house. I understand that I've had it a while, but i know people who has had one longer and theirs still works. My warranty is no longer active. What do I do? PLEASE HELP.

If the LED on the adapter itself never comes on, the adapter is bad -- replace it.

Maybe the fuse in the plug has blown so try changing to a new fuse b4 buying a replacement charger.
