Same with my Dell 7548, I try to project something over WiDi and the screen turns black and just logs me off after giving me some error prompt

Intel WiDi requires an Intel network card - not a Dell (Broadcomm, Qualcomm, Atheros) one.

You are correct that Intel now allows specific Broadcom/Qualcomm-Atheros adapters, but the AR956X in the DW1707 is not on the list of widi compatible wifi chipsets.

At its inception, only Intel cards were supported - but though some others are now, not all chipsets are supported.

So, finally i could fix it.

DW1707 is Widi compatible, my trouble was VirtualBox Wireless Card, after uninstall widi worked again.

I think that after upgrading to Windows 8.1, all devices are now compatible, my tablet with Realtek wireless card is compatible.

thank you guys.
