[Win10] Intel HD 520 - Very poor performance for this iGPU

So I just got a new Dell Laptop, Inspiron 13 7000 2-1 Special Edition with HD 520 iGPU. According to PassMark benchmark website/software it should have around 847 points. I did the tests and I only got 314.2. As comparison, the previous generation iGPU, Intel 5500, got 560 points. My 314 points would be more closer to an Intel HD 3000 at 310 points! So I am not sure what to do.

I did CINEBENCH 15 - OpenGL test as well and got 13.6, while the one that was on the website same card got 40.

I downloaded and installed the latest Dell Drivers including latest (released two days ago) drivers for the graphics unit. Any help / tips, would be greatly appreciated! :)

Same problem here on an Inspiron 7359.

I ran the 3DMark 11 performance benchmark and got 543 where notebookcheck.net lists an average score of 1400. They put the XPS 13 with the same hardware at over 1500.

Something seriously wrong seems to be slashing performance by almost a third.

Were you able to make any progress?

I had the same problem on my Inpiron 7353, since TurboBoost was disabled by the orignal Dell drivers.  To fix it, go to Device Manager and update the "Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Manager" driver by having Windows search automatically for a driver.  The driver version will now be 10603, which is newer than the one on the Dell website.  3D GPU performance should go up over 200%, and CPU performance will go up about 20%.
