Windows 10 Hello
The Dell Latitude e5420 is an excellent built and packs all the feature which includes fingerprint reader. Unfortunately after updating to windows 10 the dell authentication is no longer compatible. I know a lot of people want the best of software and hardware. The dell latitude does provide that with the hardware but needs a software update for the fingerprint reader. I strongly urge for dell to push out an update for the dell laptop.

Hello! The Latitude e5420 was never tested by Dell to work with Windows 10. You could try a Windows 8 driver located here and see if it works out for you.
