Windows 7 conversion from 32 bit to 64 bit
I have a Dell Latitude E 6500 which is capable of running a
64-bit operating system. The computer however was delivered with a 32 bit
Windows 7 operating system. The disc that was delivered with the computer is
titled “Reinstallation DVD for windows 7 ultimate 32 bit” operating system. Is
there a way I can upgrade my operating system to 64 bits.
I recently purchased Adobe software that requires a 64-bit
operating system so any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

You will need to purchase a new license for Windows 64-bit - and you cannot upgrade 32 to 64, so you must start completely over with a fresh install.

You can use your product key with 64 bit retail media and phone activation. See my two wikies Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Downloads and A Clean Install of Windows for best results,
