Wireless internet keeps dropping out.

Hi.

Can anyone help. New to computing so probable simple answer but problem annoying in extreme.

After a random amount of time on internet I get a message to say internet explorer has stopped working and program will close. It appears as if something switches connection off.

Any ideas or thoughts greatly received
