XPS-12 BIOS configuration for VT-x virtualization support

Question

Hi,with my recent acquisition of a Dell XPS-12 for work, I decided to replace my desktop with it. Upon installing VirtualBox (and VMware) I've discovered that even though 'Virtualization' is enabled in the BIOS, VT-x support is not. Also, there's no way to specifically enable or change the settings of individual advanced virtualization settings in the BIOS, even though the Intel Core i7 does support it (along with SLATE etc.) I've heard people using CCTK (the dell Client Configuration Tool Kit) to change individual BIOS settings, however I can't find a version compatible with the XPS-12, and can't find any other way to configure this. It's pretty much essential to my role as a developer that I get this working in order to run the 64-bit virtual machines that use in my day-to-day job. ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Well, removing Hyper-V from windows sure did fix my problem. Thanks for that!.

Now I just have to figure out a really easy way of switching hyper-v on ad off. VirtualBox won't run with it, and Visual-Studio can't run the Windows Phone emulator without it...

Ahh the life of a developer.
