XPS 12 Issues.
I've had my XPS 12 for 1 week. I've discovered the following issues that have me considering returning it.
1. After booting/rebooting and logging into Windows 8, pressing and releasing the Windows Flag key does nothing. (All other Windows 8 installations on other computers I use will swap you to the desktop doing the preceding.) If I either open the Desktop Tile, or run a Desktop program, pressing and releasing the Windows Flag works normally until rebooting.
2. StickyKeys (Windows Accessibility/Ease of Access option) I've used since MS-DOS/Windows 3.0 days. On my XPS 12, again after booting/rebooting, the sound made when you press a StickyKey ceases to function. If I toggle StickyKeys off and on (press shift 5 times to turn off, press shift 5 times to turn on, or through Control Panel.) sound is made when a StickyKey is pressed. After rebooting sound ceases again.
3. I attempted to install Visual Studio 2012 Express for Windows 8 on my XPS 12 today. Install immediately displays error message boxes saying there is a problem with my computer and will not install.
Issues 2 & 3 are the big show stoppers for me. 2 must function as expected since I cannot feel key presses. 3 the reason I bought the XPS 12 was to do some development on the go.
Are there any fixes for these issues? Are these known issues?
Thanks for any help...
