I'm running the Intel HD Graphics 530 -> 20.19.15.4312 (from MSFT, not Dell) and the latest nVidia driver (from nVidia, not Dell 10.18.13.5891) and have not even the slightest video problem.
So the errors have returned. Not only countless Critical_Process_Died BSOD but a new one Unexpected_Store_Exception (less frequent, but happens). If you google this error, the number of people complaining about this issue is numerous. I have also reinstalled several times with the latest release of Windows 10 v1511 latest roll up).
Also I wanted to ask those who have an XPS 15 9550, can you please run your hardware diagnostics. This can be run by clicking on F12 at POST time. This will open a boot menu and one of the options will be Diagnostics?
I noticed when I run this, there is a PCIe training error that shows up for slot 1 (Where the nvidia 960M graphics chip is located). I wanted to see if anyone else has this issue as well
I've just run the diagnostics on my UK spec XPS 15 9550 - 16GB RAM/1TB SSD/2GB nVidia card and not had any PCIe issues reported (I repeatedly ran that section of the test and it was fine each time). It complained that there was no HD present during the tests (which I guess is true in a way!) but everything else went through fine.
I have a feeling the issue generally is probably the driver(s) but wonder if for you it might be hardware related (too?)
Hope this helps, or at least gives you another data point.
I just tried installing the drivers mentioned above and it failed stating these drivers are not validated for this hardware, to refer the manufacturer.
Even tried installing in compatibility mode but still didn't work.
Just attempted this method and it worked. After I installed the BETA driver, it immediately started crashing, but after a reboot, it hasn't crashed since. I've streamed video for about an hour to my Xbox One for over an hour and haven't experienced any crashes. I haven't done much else other than check email but seems OK for now.
So after hours of additional troubleshooting... it has been determined that the hard drive is faulty and the 960M graphics processor is faulting. Geez. Wonder how this made it out of the factory. Technician showing up Tuesday to replace the HD and entire system motherboard. Hopefully this will do the trick.
I saw this yesterday... I killed it in task manager but there's something wrong there. Just as I thought we'd got the graphics side sorted with the beta driver(!) Would be good to have some input from Dell.
You will need to install it while PremierColor is installed."
It works. I recommend that you kill PremierColor in the task manager before trying to install this update. I got the response from them about a week ago. Where is Dell's update on this?

So far so good... Only install the Microsoft Update version of the driver and you should be ok. Been up for over an hour now running perfect.

Intel just released a new version of the graphics driver today. I'd highly recommend that anyone having trouble give it a try.
Beta 15.40.12.4326 of 11/21/2015

The new graphics drivers can be installed, you just have to manually do it. Download the zip from the link above, not then exe. Then follow these instructions to get them installed here: http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-033916.htm also here plugable.com/.../how-to-manually-update-windows-intel-hd-graphics-drivers

Has anyone else notice that the dell premier color app is using up to 30% of CPU and 3 Gb of ram??!!
Is there a way to fix it besides uninstalling the app??

Yes. This is a known issue. After having precisely this problem, I contacted the developer (Portrait Displays). They responded with this:
