XPS 15 (L502X) Poor Colour Calibration

It seems that the screen colour is blue-ish compared to any conventional screen.

I've tried calibrating with spyder and all sort of colour calibration tools but it still does'nt look right. How can I get a "normal" colour?

Help! =)

Thanks!

Same problem here, the 1366*768 screen is completely useless. I totally regret buying this laptop.

I tried lowering gamma settings in windows and games, wich helps a little, but ít's not going to be anything near perfect...

I'm wondering if it's possible to swap it with a 1600*900 screen?

I just got my new XPS L502X a week back. It has a blue-ish screen and looks so bad. I don't understand how Dell can deliver a product with such bad calibration. I was really disappointed that i had to go and change the factory setting to correct the problem. After lot of effort changing the color setting I still did not get the correct colors on my laptop. I feel frustrated that after paying so much for the laptop that Dell calls 'high performance', i need to spend time to make it display the right colors.

In case anyone finds an easy solution, please share it.

Thanks.

I just got an xps L502x and it has the same problem. The display feels like it has a blue/magenta overlay and the colours feel poor. Tried NVIDIA setup to adjust the desktop colours but didn't get anywhere with it.

Any advise on this issue will be appreciated.

There is no help available. These screens are total and there is no swapping. Dell should be ashamed to even sell these to their customers. I advise you to return your laptop to Dell if you can (usually within 7 days).

They took mine back pretty easily. So the service is still fine :)
