XPS 17 720X Factory restore
I have been running Windows 10 on my Dell XPS 17 720X.
I want to restore it to factory settings and I have all the discs. When I hit F12 for the boot menu I don't see any option to restore.
Any help is appreciated.

The first disc in your set is bootable. Put it into the DVD drive and then press F12 to boot from it.

Are you trying to restore the OS back to Win 7? Or are you trying to reset Win10?
Firstly, your system is not compatible to work with Win10 OS - see this link - http://dell.to/1XpxF45
If you are trying to downgrade the OS back to Win 7 - then see this link - http://bit.ly/1RMaCdK
If you are trying to restore Win 10 to defaults - see this - http://bit.ly/1P81h34
If you are looking to clean install Win 7 OS - assuming you have Win 7 OS disc, then as advised by ejn63, boot off the OS disc and perform a clean install.
