XPS 17 (L701x) Win 7 to Win 8 Settings Controls Don't Work
I upgraded my XPS 17 (L701x) from Win 7 to Win 8. All's great, but a couple of things aren't working. In this case, the Mobility Center, Instant Launch Manager, and the WaveTek Audio control touch buttons/controls above the keyboard. The latter two don't do anything when touched. The settings button launches a pop up dialog, but not the mobility center.
Can I get these to work like they did under Win 7.

Hi tvr2500m,
XPS 17 (L701x) has not been tested on windows 8 and hence you may not find the drivers on the Dell site. Please find the list below for windows 8 supported models.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, the L702x is supported, but not the 701x. Should bought just a little bit later ;) Oh, well. But are the two machines that much different?

Hi tvr2500m,
The differences what I find is the chipset and the processor. Unfortunately Dell has not tested Windows 8 on L701x. Am sorry about the situation.
