Dell purposely downclocked the 6800 it does not even match the spec on the Nvidia webiste, I don't know if OC'ing the video card might damage it due to heat.
On a side note I ran 3dMark05 as well on a very similiar configed 9300 and the results were basI was getting like 1 fps on some of the demos, I do not understand what is wrong. I play WoW ~ 60 fps and Half Life 2 looks and runs amazing.

Slightly overclock won't damage your computer. You can let the system overclock by itself, yet this is not guaranteed by Dell. And you mention some part you have only 1fps, that is normal. The program is made for manufactures to make their video card better.
I got 4000 on my 9300 with auto overclocking via Forceware drivers and 9600 with 3dmark03 when I did a score comparison my little laptop kicked tail over some very nicely speced desktops with top of the line video cards. Needless to say I am very happy with my 9300.
And I still think something is configured wrong cause I get very low fps numbers in 3dmark05. xps has 2 small advantages over the 9300, 2.13 processor and geforce ultra upgrades otherwise they are pretty much the same.

I should not post at 7am in morning lol, and to think I took Calculus 3 many moons ago =) I dunno about the xps being that MUCH faster all ur laptop has on mine is the ultra card.

With the same Video card, memory and CPU the XPS and 9300 would score the same.

Nothing is wrong, that is normal for 3DMark 2005.

No the XPS is not that much faster than the 9300.
