XPS L702x two disks ?
Hello I have a query about the number of drives on XPS L702X...here's what I ordered.
XPS 702x : 2nd generation Intel Core i7-2670QM processor 2.20 GHz with Turbo Boost up to 3.10 GHz
Hard Drive : 1TB (2x500GB) Serial ATA (5400RPM) Dual HDD
Does that mean it came with two Disks 0 and 1?
I have used the laptop for graphic & video editing and software required an I: drive and I recall making one but I thought I'd just created a partition, but removing the no longer required I: drive it's on it's Disk (1).
I'm trying to put the disks back as they were from the factory. would Disk 1 originally have been the D: drive where data files were stored and Disk 0 was the C: Drive ?

Hi DM996,
Yes, the system was probably shipped with 2 HDD.
The HDD 0 is by default C: and HDD 1 is D:
Is there an issue with the system, that you are trying to restore the machine to factory defaults? If yes, kindly post a detailed description of the issue and the current OS installed on the system, so we could help.
Keep us updated.

What is the SATA operation? It could have a Raid striped configuration.... where both HDDs act together as a single virtual HDD.
