XPS M1210 error code 2000-0141
at first windows xp start giving me frequent blue-screen-of-death when start up or just about 10 minutes use of pc (the error msg are different for most of the time). the problem is getting worse, and sometime the bios say cannot find boot device (and give me the above error code).
is the HDD so bad that it is dying just after 1 1/2 yrs? i am a light user, and mainly use the laptop around the house.
i tried to run scandisk when i start to have frequent blue-screen-of-death, but it didnt say anything. (possibly due to fail start-up when it restart after the run)

Hard drives can fail at any time - yes, you should replace it.
