XPS M1330 Battery Time Win 7 64 bit Problem ...

hey, first of all sorry for my "not perfect" english ..

my problem: i have updated my laptop from vista 32bit to win 7 64 bit everything works fine, but with vista i have a battery time with round about 7 hours at 100% BUT with win 7 i have only 4 hours .

i have every automatic update from windows, additionaly the "newest" dell driver (Bios, Intel ...)

but this "error" keeps on existing

what can i do ?

thank you all for every helping idea

Acpi 64 bit drivers need to be installed.  Install the vista drivers for chipset and for power management.

If the battery is more than a few months old it could also have lost some capacity.

They are part of the Dell notebook system software and the chipset driver.  There may not be NSS for WIndows7-64 bit on this model, though.

the battery is not the newest and have lost some capacity, but under vista i have today nearly 7 hours and one day later under win 7 i have only 4 hours ... i have the 8 cell battery  (the big one)

i cant understand this "error"
