XPS M1530 Keyboard issues
I've only had my new laptop for about 2 weeks now... I've noticed an issue with my keyboard when I'm typing, some of the keys seem to make me jump around on my document... it is very annoying as i'm a fast typist and all of sudden I realize i'm typing at the beginning or middle of the document instead. I haven't noticed a pattern on the keys yet.. but i'm working on it. Has anyone has this problem? Is there a fix for this? Please help!
Thank you,
Z

Try either doing an Msconfig disable or booting into safemode to verify that it's not a particular program that's doing this.
1. Reboot the machine
2. Tap F8
3. Select Safemode with networking
Open up a notepad try to make the problem occur.
Also do you notice it more the more applications you have running or just random moments?
How long has this been occuring?

Same problem with me Z.
Someone on the net said that it's a problem with the PS/2 driver
and there's a fix
Adding a DWord in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\i8042prt\Parameters
Name = PollStatusIterations
Value = 1
Tried that , no use :smileysad:

I found that when this happens if you right click that it will stop. Let me know if you find more solutions.
