XPS13 broken Touchpad

We have bought a DELL XPS13 for a company use. The laptop is around 20 months old and over the last months the touchpad has been gradually lifting up to the point now where it's unusable. After doing a web research on forums, it appears that the same thing happened to several DELL laptops ant that it is a manufactury defect (from what I could read, it turns out to be the battery which has swollen considerably and pushed the touchpad up). How can I have Dell fix that problem (the laptop is not under guarantee anymore but it appears to be a manufactury defect). Thanks.

Hi Purevox,

Thanks for posting.Unfortunately, since the warranty has expired, there's not much Dell can do other than repairing the computer at the customer's expense.  You can contact the Support Team by calling Dell Tech Support in your country to see what your options are.
