Xircom RBEM56G-100 Installtaion Problem
I have an Inspiron 3800 running win 2k pro. I was running this combo card, which now will not reconize to my system. I've tried re-installing drivers with no luck. Windows-- does reconize the modem by name (in device manager,) but fails to locate any correct modem driver while searching during hardware installtaion. Also, when I have this inserted to my laptop, I recieve a Pci serail port conflict in Other devices of the device manager. And, I also hear a low tone during the boot up sequence only when my cards is inserted during boot up. Any ideas on how to configure this thing from from scratch to get it to work again, and where the correct driver for the Dell Inspiron 3800 (w2k)?
This is a Xircom - RealPort Cardbus Ethernet 10/100+Modem 56
Model # RBEM56G-100.

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
If the card came from Dell, then drivers should be posted on the Downloads site for your system. If the card did not come from us, then you will have to look for drivers on the vendor's web site.
