ac power supply for docking station

I have an Inspiron 8600 and ordered a pro1x docking station.  Was wondering if the ac adaptor that came with the 8600, a PA-12 family adaptor, would work with the docking station.  I notice that the docking specs call for a PA-10 power supply.  Anyone know the difference?

The PA10 has an 90W output, as compared the 65W on the PA12. You need the 90W.

If you try to use the laptop docked with the PA-12 AC Adapter it will send you an error message saying that you are using a 65 watts ac adapter and it will not let you continue booting. so you definetely will need the PA-10 (90 watts).
