anyone get 3542 laptop Hdmi to TV
has anyone hooked their laptop (i got 3542) to a big screen tv through HDMI. i searched and found a few posts, but they were all people who had problems.. wanna watch the videos on my laptop on big screen tv..

The Inspiron 15-3542 has an HDMI out port. Page 3 of the specifications PDF =
HDMI port
Connect a TV or another HDMI‑in enabled device. Provides video and audio output.
Just purchase an HDMI to HDMI cable and test it.

thx for the reply.. got it to work. a cpl glitches tho. but in general does wt i want. some sort of software glitch i think. coz the video stops when i try to only use TV. instead of dual monitors. meaning i have to leave the laptop display on for the vid to run. i can hear the audio, but the tv vid freezes when i select the win 10 option of display 2 only. no matter, just sayin..
