base system device driver
hi, i have just joined to find out how to fix the porblem about the error on the base system device driver. i can see that the problem was posted already but cannot seem to find the answers. can someone please help.
i have a xps studio 1645

in device manger under Other Devices the Base System Device has a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in it. Trying to fix the problem I get the message that the system cannot find the driver?

In Device Manager under "other devices" the "Base System Device" have a yellow triangle with and exclamation mark in it. When I tried to fix this the system could not find any drivers to rectify this?

just download it from another PC and install

I also have an xps 1645 with "base system device" driver not found, though the properties says it doesn't need a driver.
The two USB ports on the left side aren't working though they recognise when something is plugged in. The esata/usb port on the right side is still working.
Any help would be appreciated.
