The only thing I can think of would be to remove the CMOS Battery.

Be sure to unplug, remove the battery and discharge the static by holding down the start button for 30 seconds prior to doing any internal work.

One more thing I forgot to add to my original reply;

Be careful how you handle the CMOS battery.  Only hold it by the thin edges.  Holding that style of battery by the flat sides can drain it.

Return the battery after about 10 minutes or so.

Removing the battery will do nothing - it's stored in EEPROM.  You must call Dell with verification of ownership in order to have the password removed.

Nonsense.  The call costs $60 after the warranty expires.
