cap key makes my cursor disappear!

I am so frustrated! Every time I hit my cap key, my cursor disappears. I have to re click where I am typing to continue. as I am typing this for example, when I hit my cap key, the tool bar on the internet highlights and the cursor is gone. please help!!!! I cannot continue typing without the cap key working properly. I have tired everything I could find online about this! I'm not great with computers  so very simple advice and instructions would be very helpful!

Hi Amie,

I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the Quickset Application. Please follow the below mentioned steps:

  1. Click “Start”, type “Programs and Features” and press enter.
  2. In the “Programs and Features” window, right click “Quickset64”, click “Change/Uninstall”.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstallation.
  4. Restart the computer.
  5. Use the following link to download the Dell Quickset Application: http://dell.to/15M0IlG
  6. Click the link, click Download file and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
  7. Restart the system and check the functionality of the Caps Lock key.

Please post the results.

No luck :0(  The instructions you gave her great though! Very easy to follow, just didn't do the trick.

 

Any other tips?
