changing video memory
hi,
i want to install another Os on my inspiron laptop. And i know other os's dont handle on board video memory dynamically as wwindows does. in order to fix this, i need to be able to change the UMa Video Memory which is set to 1 MB to at least something like 3222 MB for 3D applications to work. But the bios doesnt let me even move my cursor to that field, why is this? on that page of bios, it only lets me change time and date...pressing up down arrows dont take me to level 2 chache system memory or any of the options below...but i need to be able to change the value of UMa Video Memory, how would i go about doing this? anyone? ;o)

Incidentally, this is not considered a problem by dell either, since they don't support any other OSes than windows.
