i did some research and i found out that the file is related to my "Dell Wireless 1397 WLAN Mini-Card". i go to dells drivers and downloads website, put in my service tag, and there is only 1 download for that driver. i download it and follow the instructions provided on the website to install it. the only problem is that i noticed the drivers information before the install and after the install and nothing changed. the driver date and version were still the same. i know something installed because during the installation i noticed my internet icon and saw that is was going on and off as if a driver for my wireless card had been installed or something. then i log in this morning and right away it crashes and the same file is involved.
i tried to install the driver again and it still seems like nothing changed. should i not have noticed a change in the description of the driver? im going to the device manager and checking the date / version and it is not changing. i followed the instructions that dell provided.
here is the link to the driver / installation guide- http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&releaseid=R228532&SystemID=STUDIO1558&servicetag=&os=W764&osl=en&deviceid=16118&devlib=0&typecnt=0&vercnt=1&catid=5&impid=-1&formatcnt=0&libid=5&typeid=-1&dateid=-1&formatid=-1&source=-1&fileid=328195

Download the driver save it somewhere on your computer like your desktop. Install ccleaner and defraggler.
Go to computer > Unistall or change a program > Uninstall anything that mentions Dell Wireless.
Reboot, run ccleaner and defraggler and then try installing the driver.
