d600 cpu upgrade?

Hi i have a dell d600 with cpu 1,5ghz but it goes slowly, i would like to know if i change the cpu and add sodimm ddr400 or it must be ddr 333   thanks   Jose

We sold a 1.6 gig proc with this system so that would work.

The memory is PC2100 running at 266 mhz on older revs and PC2700 running at 333mhz on the new ones, I don't think faster memory would work.

Faster memory would work but it will clock down to PC2700/PC2100 speeds

Hi i have added a 1gb memory but the latptop still going slow. How can i know which cpu support this dell latitude d600? It's possible to put a faster cpu?   Thanks   Jose
