d620 pointer problem

Hello!

My old but reliable 620 has a problem with the pointer automatically going to the bottom right corner of the screen when starting up.  I can only move it with the central mouse button (everyone seems to call it something  different, I always called it a mouse stick......whatever) and even with that it is impossible to control the pointer.

Any ideas?
