dead pixels.... video upgrades...

i've got a few dead pixels on my inspiron 5100 that i bought in november. i was wondering what the replacement policy on this is. also, is it possible to upgrade the video card, or the display? also, could i have the display upgraded to the 15" sxga+ (does this offer higher resolution).
