dell cn number

on the bottom of a latitude d600 there is this number cn-03u652-48643-363-2553 what is it?  is there any way to get from this number to the service tag number?

It's the Dell part number for the base chassis; no, there's no way to turn it into the service tag number.

Hi,   The number you have is a part number. The service tag is a seperate number, and it should be in Bios as well as a lable underneath. It should also be on the box it came in and the paperwork that came with it.                                                                           Regards Chris
