dell inspiron 5520 15r fan stopped working
as the title says the fan completely stopped working suddenly andi tried to fix it by downloading apps like speed fan ... suddenly as i was about to close the program the fan started working as usual so i stopped worrying about it now it has stopped working again i have no idea why .. the temperature of the processor is around 80 degrees so the fan should start cooling it down but it isn't . i deleted the software the speed fan and still with no progress so i think something is wrong with the software of fan cooling itself is wrong need help with this please

Hi EssamEid122,
I would suggest you to update the BIOS on the system. Please enter your service tag # on the link below and click on ‘Get drivers and downloads’ select the OS, then download the BIOS from BIOS section onto the system and install it.

Also, I would suggest that you run the diagnostics on the computer by following the steps mentioned in the video below and check if there is any issue with the hardware on your system.

done both ... overheated during diagnostics and my bios is up to date i updated it right before posting .
im doubting the cable of the fan or the connector on the motherboard .. is there any possible way to know weather or not the motherboard can feel the fan connected to it ?
