dell studio xps laptop-overheating problems
Hi,
im planning to buy a new laptop and the studio xps seems to be a good choice, but im concerned with overheating problems.
I read a lot of reviews on dell website and elsewhere that this laptop overheats and althought dell support assured me that this problem has been fixed, i still would like to have some feedback from people that have bought this laptop.
Besides that how bad is the battery life, is it possible to get a 9 cell battery?
Thanks

Yeah, I'd like to know too, since I am thinking of purchasing one. I understand Dell recently has made updates with the graphics cards and many people are reporting that they are running cooler, but I am concerned that since the vent is basically blocked when the laptop is open, how prone to overheating this laptop is. Anyone know if it's still a big issue?
I am thinking of purchasing the 15.6" size.

Thanks.
Regarding games, That will really only be about 10 % (or less) of what I'll be using the computer for.

seems the studio xps 16 is ok on the heat issue. 1340 really runs hot on big games.

If that is the case, I will go with 1340, at least it is smaller.
