While running diagnostics i found the error message like follows

0146 DST short test

Error code 2000-0146

Msg: hard drive0-self test log contains previous errors.

I have done the memory test and all the memory test passed.while conducting express diagnostics the following errors are  found.

Drive self test short

Error code: 0F00:065D

msg DISK-DST self test read error.

Error code: 0F00:133C

Msg- DISK-no suitable disk media is present

Error code: 3600:0749

Msg- AC_adapter. Invalid AC adapter detected

My laptop is under warranty period.

Kindly advice.

Dear Sir, thank you for kind advice. I purchased my lap from Qatar. Now i m searching for the dell support center in Qatar. My laptop was pre installed with windows 7. But now heard that support center may replace the HDD but will not give windows. Also kindly advice me whether i am eligible to get international support as free of cost (during warranty period)  if i travel country to country

Sometimes the International Warranties take 10 business days to get changed, just so you understand that. You would think it was a faster process but sometimes certain things are not as fast.

I m taking the back up to give my laptop to nearest support center. when i purchased this laptop it was with pre-installed windows 7 home basic. But i didn't get windows 7 CD along with it. Is it possible to claim and get windows 7 CD via dell support center . I heard that after replacing HDD many of others didnt get windows installed in it. So if it is happened to me I again need to purchase windows for no reason of mine.

kindly advice how can i claim windows CD from Dell support center

If in the United States, Request Backup Disks USA If in another Country, contact Dell Tech Support in your Country.

Dear Sir, thank you very much for your quick replies. When i purchased the laptop i paid for windows 7 home basic.But i didn't get  windows CD, instead i was given windows pre-installed laptop. I believe that i was eligible for getting a windows 7 CD from vendor. If they replace my HDD without installing windows, i again need to purchase it for which i already paid the dell vendor. I feel uncomfortable for a reason which i have no role in it. Is it possible to get windows 7 CD mailed from Dell.inc ?

If you have all your files and folders backed up, then  you can insert the Dell Data Safe disk 1 and restart the computer, then follow the instructions.

Can you kindly provide contact detail of dell authorized service centre in doha. i got a problem with my dell and i am searching for the authorized centre. my dell is in waranty till nov 2012 i purchased it in jan 2012. Kindly help please
