e6400 problem with dual monitors, video goes black when moving window to second monitor

I have a new e6400 with the Intel GM45 integrated graphics driver version 6.14.10.5029, currently on an EPlus port expander and two monitors, a Dell 1905FP connected to the Digital port, and a Dell 2208WFP connected through the Analog port.  I have Windows XP Service Pack 3 with all updates

Everything is fine until I take an active video window, a webcam, iTunes video or my HDTV Tuner window, and move it to the second monitor - usually from my 19" Digital monitor (default) to the Analog 22" screen.  When I do, the video either freezes or goes black.  The audio continues to work, and with a webcam, the other person still sees good video from my camera, but I can see nothing.

My previous PC was a Dell D620 that I ran with the same configuration with a docking station, and no problems - although I can't say I moved video around as much - I need to do it more with my webcam for work.  The D620 used nvidia graphics (I forget the specifics), but moving active video displays from one screen to the other had no issues.

Can anyone help?  Is this a bug with the Intel Graphics, or does it work "as advertised"?
