error d0000144 hard error

Question

hi  i am using dell 1545  from d last 3 yrs   it never gave me any kind of problem. but since last 2 weeks its creating problem one after the other. startup is fine and then in 5 min it hangs. again i restart then again in 5 min . i tried doing the factory settings also. i checked every forum regarding the issues. now it gave me error d0000144 unknow hard error searched on google about this error . it says i have to reinstall windows. but i dont know how to . i have the product key but dont have the disc. pls advice. thanks in advance

I would suggest you to run Dell diagnostics on the system, to run dell diagnostics, turn on the system, press at the initial Dell logo screen, and select Diagnostics from the boot menu. In case your system shuts down while running diagnostics or you get any error message please let me know, also I would request you to provide me the Service tag or the Express service in a private message.
