Thanks for the link. I tried clicking on this before and just as this time, it failed to load and timed out. Perhaps it was trying to scan my system and saw that it wasn't a Dell and thus the problem loading, but it looks to be merely an artcle. I can't get on the internet with the Dell--most likely connected with the ethernet problem. One would think that's such a basic need for computers that there would have been at least a generic driver loaded with XP Pro.
