exclamation mark on PCI Simple Communication Controller

Hi,

Recently reinstall win 7 Home Premium 64bit on Dell N4010. After finishing install all drivers required, i found exclamation mark on PCI Simple Communication Controller. Already search the drivers but still won't work. As a result my laptop can not detect Wifi connection.. Already try using the provided cd by dell but still failed to search the actual driver.. Anyone who has experienced this before and know how to solved it? ASAP..

regards

Provide the hardware IDs of the PCI Simple Communication Controller. See Windows Reinstallation Guide/A Clean Install of Windows 7 Step 12 for details:

Hi realkamy,

I suspect the chipset driver is not installed. You need to install the Dell system software and the chipset driver. Find the link below for the following drivers:

Dell System software: http://dell.to/18DXUKs

Chipset driver: http://dell.to/10C5q22

Restart the system after each installation.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Hi realkamy,

As suggested by Philip, I request you to provide the hardware ID of the PCI Simple Communication Controller. Right click the device with the error and select properties:
Go to details and select Hardware ids.

Awaiting your response.
