I moved last weekend and got around to hooking up my computer on Friday. Something is wacky with the monitor. Everything is darker and nothing I do seems to help. It is so bad now when trying to watch my shows on Hulu the screen is dark on inside shots all I can see is a halo of sorts around the images. Is there a way to get the picture back to light enough so I can see what I am watching?

Would appreciate anyones input.

Hi, --- BTW post these kind of issue in Dell community not in WIKI

If you have changed the pixels and it has gone blank.. then follow the following steps...

Keep tapping on F8 key @ Dell logo --> Highlight Enable VGA Mode -- This will boot into XP with 640 X 480 resolution.. now change the resolution to 1024 X 768... Click OK

Restart the computer to fix the issue...

Cheers,
Vejay

Check Ebay, do a smart search so it will email you when folks have on for sale.

Did you try doing a clean reinstall of Windows?  I had a similar problem with mine and the reinstall fixed the lack of display.  (Now I still cannot see the bottom of the screen).
