Using the l8kfanGUI program, when I notice my laptop getting noticeably warm, I toggle "Force fans to high speed" option for a few minutes until the temperatures sink down around 25C-30C for CPU. After that if I don't like the noise, I turn it off and come back to manually kicking the fans back up when temperatures rise uncomfortably again or just leave it on to keep my laptop chilly. Another thing you can do about your fans is give them a good clean for they might be clogged with dust bunnies keeping them from working to their full potential. If you are comfortable, a change in thermal paste might help your temperatures. However your laptop is still fairly new, so I wouldn't bother. Could invest in a laptop cooler and see if that helps.
