inspiron 1520 webcam issues
my integrated web cam is not working, the webcam center does not recognize it, nor does it show up in device manager (in fact the whole imaging whatever category is not there.)
i have tried installing the drivers from download several time and am now at a loss at what to do...
any help would be appreciated

If the operating system was recently installed/reinstalled, the drivers need installed in the correct order How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order,

Troubleshooting the Dell Webcam and Dell Webcam Central Software
If that doesn't work, then we get the members to run the Webcam Diagnostics
The questions are, did the webcam show in the symptom tree?
Any error messages?
Is the computer under warranty?
