installed kensington optical mouse now touchpad doesn`t work
After installing optical mouse touchpad does not work anymore,touchpad properties state that it is working ok,installed 3 days ago and up until today both worked,i could use either the touchpad or the mouse,the touchpad icon in taskbar is no longer there.not a newbie but pretty close,any help would be greatly appreciated,i have a inspiron 1000 with xp home.

Hey man just I have the same problem! Just installed this Kensington mouse about 5 days ago! Almost about the same time you did. Anyhow i think this is somehow an issue for Kensington. Just curious but which mouse was it and did you install the software that came with it?

I have the kensington optical pocket mouse,yes i downloaded the software required to program buttons,after reprograming the software and restarting the computer i no longer have any problems,hope this helps.
