intel centrino duo mobile technology

On the dell site for the E1705 there is a button on the graphic that talks about centrino duo which contains the three parts (intel core dual processor, mobile intel 945 chipset, intel pro/wireless network connection). Does the E1505 have this too? Are there certain options you much pick when building the laptop to have these mobile capabilities or is it automatic? Thanks

To carry the "Centrino" package label, a notebook has to carry all 3 components: http://www.intel.com/cd/channel/reseller/asmo-na/eng/products/47641.htm

If you configure a notebook without one of the 3 essential components (e.g., you can configure it using a Dell wireless adapter instead of the PRO/Wireless adapter) it will not carry the Centrino label.

note that 'centrino' label is a worthless marketing ploy.  lots of people hate intel wireless cards

ok i understand that much. im just curious to know how to figure if the e1505 has the mobile intel 945 chipset. I did pick the duo core option and the intel pro wireless net connection but there isnt anything that alludes to the chipset. was there an option i missed OR is it implied OR is it not available?

it's on the dell specs page, but perhaps this utility will help: http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df-external/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProductID=2300&DwnldID=9830&strOSs=44&OSFullName=Windows*%20XP%20Professional&lang=eng

a free program called CPU-Z would likely also give you the information
