jumpy cursor on Vostro

Question

my Vostro keyboard is so sensitive (or something) that my cursor jumps around like crazy as i type. i thought i was perhaps unconsciously brushing the pad somehow but it just seems too wonky. Suddenly an email gets sent mid-sentence. or i will be typing an email and suddenly the cursor is in the middle of the subject cell, or someplace back a few sentences. it's driving me crazy and certainly has slowed down my typing.

You may download and install the touchpad drivers for your system from the link http://dell.to/1eZmZmo.

On the link, enter the system Service Tag and click on ‘Continue’. Select the operating system and it will display a list of available downloads.

If you find any issues updating the driver, please share the exact system model and the operating system.
