The keyboard is used to wake the computer from Sleep or Stand by. If you want it disabled, use Hibernation instead. You will have to briefly press the power button to wake it from hibernation. Change the settings in Power Settings in Control Panel.

hi, i think you got my question wrong.

i am not keeping the laptop in sleep.

on my inspiron 2 in 1 laptop which supports 360 rotation on its hinges and can be used in laptop mode, tablet mode, tent mode and stand mode,

when i watching a video in stand/presentation mode (i.e., laptop facing its keyboard face), keyboard is still active instead of disabled. as a result when i am watching video space button is continously pressed as i am not able to watch video in stand mode.

i want keyboard to be disabled when i have laptop with it is is standing on keyboard face .

when i use tablet mode, keyboard is disabled and working good.

Hi guys,

Problem is fixed.

While tweaking my laptop, i disabled QuickSet Application, hence the problem.

Enabling quickset resolved the problem.

Thanks,

Uma
