latitude LS screen cable - a source? [solved]
Hi all,
I'm going nuts trying to find one of the above...
Dear Google,
When I SAY "Pages from the UK" I ruddy well MEAN pages from the UK and I DON'T want to see piggin' dollar signs ANYWHERE!
And when I say Latitude LS I MEAN ruddy LS and NOT Dnnn and Cnnn and Inspiron and...
And then of course there's dear old ebay... and much the same applies.
I've been searching for two blasted hours now for an actual source for an actual cable that I can ruddy well BUY.
If anyone has a link to a place that really truly physically HAS one of these for sale I'd be eternally grateful. Longer, even

Given the age of the system, you should be able to buy a complete, used one for under the equivalent of $150 - many of these will already have been scrapped, so parts supplies may be tight otherwise. As laptops go, this one is ancient!

Thanks SpeedStep,
I finally found one (though not on ebay - no such animal to be found there) and yes, once I'd tripped over a part number instead of using "dell latitude ls screen cable" as my search criterion and used the part number instead it became relatively straight forward.
That's the real trick isn't it? Find a part number and search on that!
Quoted were from sort of £59 !!! Which is a joke considering most other similar type cables were quoted between £10 and £20.
Best deal I found shunted me from their UK "presence" to an offshore place priced at $19. I'm not sure what the exchange rate is these days but it sure beats the heck out of £59 even with $9 for postage.
And for any other poor soul fruitlessly searching the web for one...
Dell Latitude LS screen cable part#1134T
google dell 1134T
I chose at the pchub result which sent me on to the first link above.
All in all, a mere six hours! Sheesh! :)

The LS is so old unless you go ebay I have doubt that you will find them.
