m1530 just did A09 downgrade but battery percentage doesn't change
I had the common battery is plugged in, but won't charge problem with a battery stuck at 4%
I made a USB disk to downgrade BIOS A12 to A09
I just completed the downgrade.
It says it's plugged in and charging but the percentage is still at 4% for about a half an hour now.
What else could this be?
Or am I just having a case of impatience?

Check the BIOS setup -- is the AC adapter correctly identified (and is it a Dell adapter)?
F2 at powerup.

It sure would - the battery needs to be replaced.

Yes. It identified it as a 65w adapter. It is the original adapter as well. But upon hitting F2, the battery health part told me I need to replace the battery. If the battery is decreasing in function, would it explain why the percentage hasn't changed?
