m1710 and media direct
I bought a new hard drive for my m1710 to replace the 80 GB one it came with. I want to reinstall media direct, my question is, is it worth to get ahold of media direct 3.0? is there a big difference between that and 2.0?
Will 3.0 even work with the 1710?

The dell drivers page lists 2.0, and how to install it wasn't my question. My question was was there a big difference between 2.0 and 3.0 and is it worth ordering the disk for 3.0?

by difference I meant feature set. Not how to get it on to the system.
