mSATA drive inactive

I have a 17rSE almost a couple years old (still under warranty). I noticed that in task manager, the mSATA drive is always 0% active, no matter what. Is this normal or has something gone wrong? 

I have upgraded to Windows 10 but am unsure if this behavior was the same before the upgrade.
