mSATA in Vostro 3450
I'm planning to buy a 128gb mSATA card and install in my Vostro 2450 as main boot HD, it can be done? Some say that this Vostro 3450 only accepts mSATA as cache.
thanks in advance

Hi axelhawk,
Thank you for your reply. Vostro 3450 does not support mSATA. Vostro 3460 supports it as per our documentation.

Hi axelhawk,
Vostro 3450 supports only normal and SSD disk drives. You may purchase a 128 SSD and replace the hard drive with it.
Please let me know if you need further information.

So, Vostro 3450 doesn't have a free mpcie slot? I saw other forum posts (outside dell comunity) saying that it does... There is some difference between builds?
